We have a lot of things to learn from children. It is a cliche, but at the same time, it is such a true statement.
Generally, children do not see the hurdles that can come in their way. Because they only think about the possibilities in life. They always stay in the winning game! They are not scared of losing!
I and my nephew Atharva play football whenever I visit their place. On one of the days, he couldn’t cope with the speed and lost the game! He said, “I have defeated almost everyone. But you run faster”. We concluded the day.
The next day, when we were going to the play area, I just asked him “Who is going to win today?”
Without even thinking for a second, he said “I’m winning”.
I was presuming that he may answer this question with some sense of doubt because he had lost on the previous day.
When we started playing, he appeared to me as a person who has decided that he will win the game! He didn’t mind the challenges that I posed him to hit the goal and just focused on the goal. He played well and won the game!
Isn’t this principle applies to our lives? We the adults, who also had a similar mindset when we were children, have accumulated a variety of fears like fear of failure, fear of success, fear of being judged, fear of being cornered, and so on because of which we often fail to perform. We become unsuccessful because of the barriers that we create on our own! The moment we break it down, we can create breakthroughs in our lives.
Definitely, we have a lot of things to learn from children!
